4th Annual INOA Training Conference
Stoney Creek Inn, Johnston , Iowa
We are proud to announce our 4th Annual Training Conference to be held April 1-3 at the Stoney Creek Inn, 5291 Stoney Creek Court , Johnston , IA. The Stoney Creek Inn has reserved a block of rooms for conference attendees at a special rate of $78 per night (plus taxes). [Note: K-9 handlers that choose to bring their dogs must notify the hotel prior to arrival.] A complimentary continental breakfast is available daily for registered guests. Call 1-800-659-2220 to make reservations. Room reservations need to be made 30 days prior to the conference and be sure to mention INOA to get the special rate.
On Wednesday, four different training classes will be offered in the morning and repeated again during the afternoon session. You will have your choice of which of the break-out sessions you would like to attend. This year an anhydrous ammonia methamphetamine reduction demonstration will be conducted at the DCI Criminalistics Laboratory. If you are interested in attending, please note it on your registration form. This class is limited to 25 participants.
Registration includes lunch on Tuesday and Thursday and our evening meal on Wednesday night. Spouses or significant others are welcome and encouraged to attend both the Wednesday evening meal and the Thursday afternoon session. Additional meal tickets may be purchased for those wishing to have guests attend Wednesday’s evening meal, Thursday’s lunch or both.
To register, please complete the enclosed registration form and submit it along with payment to INOA. Additionally, for new attendees, please submit a current photo [in JPG format] via email to llewis@dps.state.ia.us, to help expedite the registration process. Be sure to share the registration materials with anyone who may be interested in attending.
