Dear Vendors:

The Iowa Narcotics Officers Association (INOA) is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Training Conference for INOA will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2008 , through Thursday, April 3, 2008 , at the Stoney Creek Inn and Conference Center located at 5291 N.W. Stoney Creek Court , Johnston , IA. This is an excellent chance for you to showcase your products and services to men and women in law enforcement, particularly drug enforcement, and associated career fields who will recommend, purchase and use your products and services.

The 3rd Annual INOA Training Conference was held in April of 2007 with approximately 140 members in attendance from Iowa , Oklahoma , & Illinois . We were joined by 11 terrific vendors who shared a wealth of information and expertise with our members. I am pleased to say that most vendors had been with us in the past indicating to me their prior participation had been beneficial. But we also had 3 brand new vendors who brought new products and information to the table. Hopefully, your experience in 2007 was both beneficial and enjoyable. Your continued support and presence with us is extremely valuable to the membership and greatly appreciated.

PLEASE NOTE the earlier time frame of this conference. As some of you are aware, we had several conflicts that impinged upon the ability of our members to attend the 2007 conference. As a result and, in an effort to avoid conflicts, we chose to move the date of the 2008 conference. This time frame was chosen only after consultation with our vendors and we believe that we have found a time when you, too, will not have multiple obligations.

The vendor area will be open for display beginning on Monday, March 31, 2008 , from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM , in order to allow you to meet and display to INOA members as they arrive and during the early registration period. (The vendor area will be open for setup by noon .) The vendor area will then reopen on Tuesday, April 1 and Wednesday, April 2 from 7:00 AM until 5: 30 PM . Registration for conference attendees will continue on Tuesday, April 1, from 7:00 AM until 9:00 AM at which time the conference will open. Training on Wednesday, April 2, will begin at 8:00 AM . Training will conclude at 5:00 PM on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Based upon our experiences at the previous training conferences, we will locate our vendor area directly outside of our main conference meeting room. A secured area with limited space will be made available for overnight storage. We invite you to come as early as you would like and stay as long as you are able.

Optional Bonus : Again this year, free of charge, we will add to the INOA website a link to all vendor’s websites. Your link from our new INOA website (www.iowanarcs.com) will be added following the conference. If you have the opportunity and the interest, please take a few minutes to visit our website. The cost for an exhibition space is $300, which will include one skirted table and two chairs. As space allows, additional tables may be available at a cost of $150 per table. Electricity is available, however, you will be required to supply your own extension cords, multi-plug connectors or any other specialized equipment that you will need. Vendor spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Special room rates for INOA Conference attendees are $78 per night (single/double) plus tax which includes a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast. (This rate is available until 3/10.) Room reservations can be made by calling The Stoney Creek Inn at (515) 334-9000.

We would also like to invite you to join us at our hospitality room following registration on Monday and after the conclusion of training on both Tuesday and Wednesday. There is the opportunity to sponsor or co-sponsor the hospitality room, as well. Throughout the conference, INOA will be having drawings and door prizes. We would greatly appreciate your generous contributions toward this effort, which also provides yet another opportunity to promote your company, products and services. All forms of contributions and support to INOA will be appropriately recognized.
