The 8th Annual Iowa Narcotics Officers Association (INOA) 8th annual training conference will be held beginning on Tuesday, March 27th, 2012, and run through Thursday, March 29th, 2012. The conference will be held at the Stoney Creek Inn located at 5291 Stoney Creek Ct., Johnston, Iowa. Our conference is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your products and services to law enforcement personnel, prosecuting attorneys, and other members in associated career fields who will recommend, purchase, and use your products and services.
The 7th annual INOA Conference was held in late March, 2011, with approximately 160 members in attendance from Iowa, Oklahoma, and Illinois.
A vendor area will be open for display beginning on Monday, March 26th, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in order to allow you to meet and display to INOA members as they arrive during the early registration period. (The vendor area will be open for setup by noon.) The vendor area will then reopen on Tuesday, March 27th and Wednesday, March 28th from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Registration for conference attendees will continue on March 27th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at which time the conference will begin. Training on Wednesday, March 28th, will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. Training on Thursday, March 29th will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude before 4:00 p.m. You are welcome to stay on through the conclusion of the conference on Thursday, March 29th. The vendor area this year will be in the hallway area located immediately outside of the main conference room. This vendor area will not be secured after hours so vendors will need to secure their merchandise at the end of each day.
Again this year, we will add to the INOA website a link to all vendors’ websites. Your link from our INOA website (www.iowanarcs.com) will be added following the conference. If you have the opportunity and the time, please take a few minutes to visit our website. Also note that this information is available under the Vendors tab.
As our way of trying to help you help us, we have continued the cost for an exhibition space at the 2012 INOA Training Conference at $100 per table. Electricity is available, however, you will be required to supply your own extension cords, multi plug connectors, or any other specialized equipment that you will need. Vendor spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. This rate is available until 03-01-12. Special room rates for INOA Conference attendees are $78 per night (single/double) plus tax. Room reservations can be made by calling the Stoney Creek Inn at (515) 334-9000.
We would also like to invite you to join us in our hospitality room following registration on Monday and after the conclusion of training on both Tuesday and Wednesday. There is an opportunity to sponsor or co-sponsor the hospitality room, as well. Throughout the conference, INOA will be having door prizes and drawings. We would greatly appreciate your generous contributions toward this effort, which also provides yet another opportunity to promote your company, products, and services. All forms of contributions to INOA will be appropriately recognized.
If you have joined us in the past, we certainly hope that you will join us again in 2011. If you have never been with us, we certainly hope that you will take this opportunity to join us for the first time.
